More than 300 exhibitors will showcase the latest innovations, products and services for the mining sector when Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) opens its doors in Sydney next week.
Industry leading companies including Kal Tire, Airbus Defence and Space, Global Pumps, Holden, Mobil Oil Australia, Herrenknecht, Thyssenkrupp, REMA Tip Top, Voith, Brevini and BELAZ will be represented.
“AIMEX is full of opportunities,” said AIMEX event director, Brandon Ward.
“With so many leading companies under one roof, AIMEX offers visitors the chance to interact face-to-face with exhibitors and collaborate with one another.
“For suppliers, AIMEX is an opportunity to discuss where mining equipment, technology and services is headed and for visitors, it’s a chance to meet with colleagues and discover new products and services entering the market.”
Live demonstrations
Attendees can see live demonstrations with National Wireless, Henkel, Nautitech, Tyre Chain Australia, INNOVA Global and Davies Wear Parts among the exhibitors taking part.
The featured products and technology are designed to overcome common challenges within the mining industry.
They are built to cope with harsh and remote conditions and to improve the safety of the site.
Networking opportunities
As part of the event, AIMEX will also host an Industry Networking Event on Wednesday, August 30.
Sponsored by METS Ignited, speakers presenting at The Future of Mining conference, exhibitors and visitors will have the opportunity to network with one another in an informal environment.
“The Industry Networking Event will provide new and old faces in the sector the opportunity to connect, share insights and discuss common challenges that they face within the mining sector,” Mr Ward said.
The Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition is free-to-attend and runs from August 29-31 at the Sydney Showground.
