Stand applications open next month for the southern hemisphere’s leading processing and packaging trade event, AUSPACK 2021.
Recognised globally, the long-running biennial event is heading back to the Sydney Showground from May 25-28, 2021.
AUSPACK 2021 will feature the latest in robotics technology, Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence for the packaging industry.
“With a record show in 2019, our 2021 event is already looking exciting,” said Mark Dingley, Chairman of the Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), which owns AUSPACK.
Key initiatives developed in 2019 will again be part of the future-driven AUSPACK 2021.
These include the AUSPACK Business and Industry Conference and the APPMA Awards of Excellence, along with interactive tools to enhance visitors’ experiences.
“The AUSPACK Business and Industry Conference, held as part of the growing Packaging & Processing Week, and the APPMA Awards were excellent inclusions and added a lot of value for visitors,” said Mr Dingley.
“We developed the conference to enhance the educational opportunities on offer, while the well-received APPMA Awards – the only dedicated processing and packaging machinery awards program of their type in Australasia – were an excellent way to recognise those making a significant difference.”
Sydney exhibitors given first options
Businesses who innovate across the spectrum of processing technologies are encouraged to apply for exhibition space.
This includes robotics, Industry 4.0, factories of the future, artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality packaging machinery, sustainable packaging, active and intelligent packaging, digital printing, packaging for ecommerce and “last-mile” solutions.
Albert Kruger, Event Director with Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF), the organisers of AUSPACK, said: “Exhibitor applications will be handled in the same way they were for 2019, with APPMA members and previous Sydney exhibitors given first options in the four phases.”
Phased exhibitor applications open on September 17.
The 2021 exhibition-space application process is:
Phase 1: September 17 – October 1, 2019: open to APPMA members who have previously exhibited in Sydney (AUSPACK 2017) with the opportunity to secure their previous space or similar, if unavailable.
Phase 2: October 2-29, 2019: open to all APPMA members.
Phase 3: October 30 – November 27, 2019: open to all previous Sydney (AUSPACK 2017) exhibitors, with the opportunity to secure their previous space or similar if unavailable.
Phase 4: November 28, 2019 – through to 2021 event until sold out: open to all potential exhibitors on a first come first served basis.
“AUSPACK 2019 was a record-breaking Melbourne show,” said Mr Kruger.
“AUSPACK 2021 is on target to be even more exciting and rewarding for the businesses who exhibit and attending visitors.”
