Australia will again be represented at the ProPak Asia packaging exhibition to be held in Thailand next week.
The Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) will co-ordinate the second Australian Pavilion at the global industry event.
Last year the APPMA identified a need to help Australian packaging and processing manufacturers and distributors by creating an Australian Pavilion at ProPak Asia each year.
The pavilion provides a cost effective way for Australian manufacturers and distributors to showcase their products and services to the Asian market.
Companies receive a prime position in the new packaging zone at the show as well as additional promotions and advertising for the exhibition, networking opportunities and social events.
Eight industry zones
ProPak Asia 2017 will feature eight industry zones including Processing Tech Asia, Packaging Tech Asia, Drink Tech Asia, Pharma Tech Asia, Lab & Test Asia, Materials Asia, Coding, Marking & Labelling and Coldchain, Logistics & Warehousing.
Last year’s event presented 1,967 exhibitors from 48 countries and featured 17 international pavilions from China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, UK, USA and new pavilions from Australia and Denmark.
More than 40,893 visitors from 68 countries attended the four-day show.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of ProPak Asia, Asia’s Number One international trade event for food, drink and pharmaceutical processing & packaging technology.
ProPak Asia 2017 will be held at Bangkok International Trade Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from June 14-17.
