AUSPACK 2019, the southern hemisphere’s leading packaging and processing event, opens in Melbourne tomorrow.
Mark Dingley, Chairman of the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) will officially open the event at 8:30am. Doors to the exhibition will open at 9am.
The inaugural AUSPACK 2019 Business and Industry Conference also begins tomorrow with a networking tea and coffee session between 8:30-9am.
VIC Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change Lily D’Ambrosio will open the two-day conference at 9am.
Networking drinks will be held for exhibitors tomorrow evening, from 5-7pm in the Izakaya Lounge.
On Wednesday night, the Gala Awards Ceremony for the APPMA Awards of Excellence will be held to announce the winners and APPMA Annual Scholarship recipient.
The NextGen Breakfast Forum will be held on Friday morning from 7am-9am, with practical advice on attracting and retaining the next generation into the workforce.
By 2025, Gen Z will comprise more than 25% of the Australian workforce, and it is essential manufacturers have the right workforce skills in place.
AUSPACK registration opens from 8.15am each day.

- Tuesday to Thursday (9am-5pm)
- Friday (9am-3pm)
AUSPACK 2019 is being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 26-29.
