The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) Awards of Excellence, the national awards program for the processing and packaging industry, is back next year.
This event brings the packaging industry together to recognise and celebrate industry excellence, innovation, leadership and best practise.
Nominations are now open, giving companies and individuals involved in the packaging industry an opportunity to showcase their work.
There are five award categories including:
- Best New Product Award
- Customer Collaboration Award
- Design Innovation Award
- Export Success Award
- Imported Equipment Award
The Awards of Excellence will be presented at a Gala Dinner on Wednesday March 27 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre alongside AUSPACK 2019 to be held from March 26-29 and part of the broader Packaging and Processing Week.
The evening includes a night of entertainment, food and networking.
By nominating for an award companies and individuals can:

Who can enter?
Entries for the APPMA Awards of Excellence are open to any APPMA member (as of July 1, 2018) or AUSPACK 2019 exhibitor who has a product or solution that meets the eligibility criteria specified in the award assessment criteria which you can find in the awards entry kit.
The judging panel
Judges will include a panel of Australian and international peers and media who have been invited by the APPMA board on a voluntary basis.
