ProPak Asia 2019, Asia’s number one packaging and processing exhibition, is at 85% capacity with only four months remaining until the show opens.
A number of zones within the show have wait lists, says Justin Pau, General Manager of UBM Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
This is a reflection of the standing of the show in the ASEAN Region.
“To be held from June 12-15in Bangkok, Thailand, ProPak Asia has been serving the ASEAN Region for 27 years. Spanning 60,000 sqm, it is the regional hub for connecting packaging and processing manufacturers and suppliers.
“We anticipate that ProPak Asia 2019 will showcase over 20,000 products and solutions across 1900 exhibitors from 50 countries within 9 zones over four days,” Mr Pau said.
There will be 18 pavilions from 13 countries including Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, UK, and US.
Nine targeted zones
ProPak Asia is divided into nine targeted zones for visitors including ProcessingTechAsia, PackagingTechAsia, DrinkTechAsia, PharmaTechAsia, Lab&TestAsia, Materials Asia, Coding, Marking & Labelling Asia, Coldchain, Logistics & Warehousing Asia and Printech Asia.
ProPak Asia 2018 attracted 48,799 buyers from 79 countries which saw a 9.19% increase from the previous year.
“We are really excited about the projections for 2019,” said Mr Pau.
With ProPak Asia being an established brand in the ASEAN Region the show receives a high number of international visitors and buyers with the Top 12 Asian countries attending.
This includes Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Korea and Sri Lanka.
“The figures show increasing demands for technology and automation solutions and a global belief that ProPak Asia is Asia’s most important destination for anyone in the processing and packaging industries,” Mr Pau said.
