The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), have announced three finalists for the annual Scholarship to complete a Diploma in Packaging Technology.
They are: Gui Fen Janell Siek, Packaging Technologist, Nestle Australia, Brittany Puyol, Product & Packaging Designer, Edlyn Foods and Karunia Adhiputra (Adhi), Packaging Technologist, Technical & Production, Nestlé Australia.
The scholarship program enables a packaging technologist, designer or engineer in Australia a scholarship opportunity to the value of $9,000.
Technology is an internationally recognised Level 5 qualification for those looking to pursue a career in the packaging industry or for those who are already in the industry and who want to extend their knowledge and expertise.
Diploma in Packaging Technology students are from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, and are typically experienced practitioners or managers in technical, sales/marketing, QA, purchasing, engineering or design.
Completion of the Diploma in Packaging Technology demonstrates their commitment to their career and to the industry.
Delegates who successfully complete the Diploma are equipping themselves for senior positions within the packaging industry.
The winner will be announced at the APPMA Biennial Awards of Excellence at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on March 27.
