Unlike most other business organisations, the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) hosts a Christmas party with a big difference.

Rather than holding a standard Christmas party, AIP Members are invited to be a part of something special.

They pack 1000 Family Hampers and 300 Ladies Hampers for Foodbank to help those in need during the holiday season.

Over the last seven years, industry members have packed over 6500 hampers valued at more than $700,000 to brighten Christmas for those less fortunate.

All items are either donated or the funds are raised by the AIP and the wider industry.

This year the AIP is inviting volunteers – company staff, colleagues and families – to help pack hampers for this great cause on December 7 in Brisbane.

All ages are invited – the oldest volunteer to date being 85 and the youngest 5.
