Bharati Robotics Systems has unveiled a new range of autonomous industrial floor cleaning robots.

The Indian based company says the small vehicle saves labour costs and increases productivity by up to 200 per cent.

It also cleans the floor better than humans, delivering the “highest quality of cleaning”.

These fully autonomous Industrial Floor Cleaning Robots can move all over a facility on its own.

It will thoroughly clean the floor and then send regular reports which can be accessed at the touch of Smartphone command. The robot’s battery lasts up to four hours on one charge.

Called August, the robot is ideal for cleaning factories, warehouses, malls, airports and railway stations.

Bharati has also launched a new robot – an automated guided vehicle (AGV) – for materials transport, which it says is “100 per cent autonomous”.
