Looking for a mobile robot with plenty of muscle?

This Robotnik Autonomous Mobile Robot AGVS has a maximum load capacity of 500kg and lasts up to 8 hours on battery.

The AGVS mobile robot platform was developed for intra-hospital transport.

It’s low-profile enables it to pass under hospital trolleys (roller containers) to transport them

inside hospital buildings.

The AGVS has two motors controlling direction and traction.

The chassis, manufactured of aluminium and steel, carries the batteries, the motors and the mechanical transmissions. An electrical axis can lift up and down the upper part of the robot. This part is able to carry up to 500kg load.

The robot provides two safety laser rangefinders (rear and front) for object detection.

It is equipped with a mechanical braking system which acts in cases of power loss or failure.

The braking distance is calculated depending on the load conditions, velocity, slope, wheels waste or friction. The laser sensor adjusts the braking distance with the maximum load and velocity.

The robot uses a magnetic sensor (antenna) to find magnetic landmarks on the floor.
