Robotics entrepreneur Nicci Rossouw, who introduced Australia to the innovative telepresence robots temi and more recently QTRobot, has launched a new robotics podcast series.
The bi-weekly offering will focus on all things robotic – featuring interviews with some of Australia’s sharpest minds in the robotics industry.
“We want to feature the people that are doing wonderful things in robotics,” she says.
Recent interviews include world-renowned robotics visionary Dr Sue Keay, Research Director – Cyber Physical Systems at CSIRO’s Data61.
Dr Keay is the driving force behind Australia’s first Robotics and Computer Vision Roadmap, a ground-breaking document that provides industry and government with a valuable insight into Australia’s robotics sector.
Upcoming interviews
Nicci also speaks with Eric Peck, CEO of Swoop Aero, a revolutionary Australian medical drone logistics company that aims to provide 100 million people with better access to healthcare by 2025.
Swoop Aero recently closed a multi-million-dollar Series A funding round as it continues to expand globally amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
And coming up soon is an entertaining interview with Maree Timms, a passionate maths and science teacher who’s been working for more than 30 years in schools across the world including Melbourne, Turkey, Darwin, Northern Territory and Wangaratta.
Ms Timms, who has been heavily involved with the Galen VEX Robotics, explains how robotics can play an important role in a child’s education.
This compelling podcast series is a MUST for all robotics enthusiasts.
