Bestech Australia offers lead-free strain gauges with a unique gauge pattern and special plastics backing with excellent fatigue life. 

This special series called Goblet features a small sensor to measure the amount of strain on an object.

The new series aims to eliminate the use of lead, which is harmful to both human bodies and the environment.

Owing to the use of special plastics for the backing, operational temperature range of the gauges has been improved to -196 to +150°C. 

The Goblet series includes strain gauges for general use and glass/ceramic materials. Applicable specimens include metals, ceramics, and composite. The strain gauges use Cu-Ni alloy foils and have a strain limit of 5% (50,000x10^-6 strain) and a fatigue life of 1x10⁶ (±1500x10^-6 strain).
